ReplyDeleteThe chemical composition that we claim for the product makes it a low-dosage oral contraceptive. Now if the constituents,which are the source of side effects are less in quantity then the side-effects would also be comparatively lesser. Hence the claim.
Looks like lot of study has been done for the feasibility of this product... But do u think women will be able to trust a chewing gum for such a critical problem?
ReplyDeleteSounds like an uber cool concept.. Bringing it to life maybe a little arduous.. But how will you make sure it doesn't look like an i-pill rip off and looks like an innovation rather than an improvisation or " the same stuff in a new pack"?
ReplyDeleteHi Sonam. Yes, it would be a bit challenging to position our brand as a superior product in someone's mind who has been on pills for long. But we believe that a minimal side-effects due to our brand is one aspect which would be able to help us position us in a better way among this target group.
ReplyDeleteHi Ashish, We believe in the ideology of collaborative competition. Though it might appear that we would be threat to emergency contraceptive pills or other contraceptives, but there is a huge strata of our population who are wary of using such birth control techniques. We believe that if we are able to spread the message and create new market for contraceptive usage, things like market share-profits-revenues, everything would automatically be taken care of.
